Intro to Meditation / Mindfulness
Curious about meditation? Heard about all of the ahhhmazing benefits but something is holding you back. Or maybe you are ready to start a regular practice but you're not sure where to begin...then this class is for you!
We will discuss the ?what,? ?why?s? and ?how to?s? of a mindfulness / meditation practice, share researched benefits and most importantly practice quieting the mind with three different techniques.
You will learn tips for creating a simple daily practice and how to avoid the common pitfalls will also be shared. Our focus is to reduce stress, ease feelings of anxiety & depression, and improve sleep. Although designed for beginners, this workshop will also stimulate and support experienced practitioners looking to deepen their practice.
