Community Support Meet and Greet
The Wakefield Health and Human Services Department and the Wakefield Area Chamber of Commerce are partnering to offer a Community Support Meet and Greet. Attendees can learn about local mental health programs, substance-use treatment and recovery, family and domestic support, and how to connect to other local social services. The session will also include signs of opioid overdose and Naloxone (nasal Narcan) training. Free Naxoxone will be available to attendees.
This session is being offered free of charge and will take place in the Heritage Room in the Civic Center, Wednesday morning, January 24, registration beginning at 8:00am and program presentation to begin at 8:30am. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
