DESCRIPTION:The 2015 Holiday Stroll promises all the fun and excitement of recent years\, an enjoyable family fun day. The core of the Stroll will remain the same. Main and Albion Streets will be transformed into a pedestrian mall with carolers and entertainers on the street\, as well as entertainment\, story teller\, and singers. The stores will be wrapped for the holiday inviting the many revelers into their businesses. We hope you will be part of this community event that brought over 8000 people into the downtown area last year. Mark your calendars for Saturday December 5th and join us again for the Holiday Stroll.\n\n\n\n1:00   2:45 p.m. Pre-Parade Activities   Civic Center\n\nEnjoy refreshments\, entertainment\, and children's activities. Mingle with a collection of Disney characters. At 2:30 the official "Holiday Stroll" tote bag will be given to the first 500 strollers.\n\n\n\n3:00 p.m.   Holiday Hat Parade   Civic Center\n\nParade formation starts at 2:30. Take part in the Hat Parade. Everyone is invited to join in! Show your holiday spirit. Use your imagination. Wear your favorite hat or specially designed hat. March with your favorite Disney characters. The parade will be led by the Wakefield High School Marching Band\, proceed down Main St. and end at the Beebe Library.\n\n\n\n3:00   7:00 p.m. - Downtown "Holiday Stroll" \n\nCome enjoy a family friendly day in Wakefield. Part of Main & Albion Streets will be closed to traffic. Along with the festive treats\, giveaways and specials\, there will be non-stop\, indoor/outdoor entertainment. Carriages will be making their way up and down Main & Albion Streets\, fire pits to keep you warm\, and the ever-popular Santa's Mailbox.
