DESCRIPTION:Steps2Cure NF is a 3 mile walk and/or officially timed run around beautiful Lake Quannapowitt. The walk/run is a popular annual event where NF families and friends come together to make a difference in the fight to cure NF. Last year over 400 people attended\, and this year we are expecting more! There will be food and fun\, plus the fabulous Halloween Treat Trail (costumes are encouraged). Don't miss out! Form your team now\, or register as an individual.\n\nProceeds from the run/walk and raffle will benefit Neurofibromatosis Northeast\, a Burlington\, MA based non-profit organization.  Your support will make it possible to invest in groundbreaking research at the Harvard Medical School Center for NF and Allied Disorders\, as well as clinical research at Boston Children's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.  In addition\, your generosity will make it possible for NF Northeast to help the many families dealing with neurofibromatosis by providing information and support.  Just as importantly\, funds raised will provide college scholarships for students who have NF to continue their education after high school.
