DESCRIPTION:The 8th annual Blossoms at the Beebe will celebrate the Country Gone Glam this year.\n\n\n\nThis is a sell-out event that benefits a pair of organizations that are fundamental to the vitality of our community: Beebe Library and the Wakefield Area Chamber of Commerce. Our public and private partnership centers on a shared commitment to service. Blossoms proceeds support Library services\, cultural events and the many Chamber projects that enhance the civic and economic life of our town.\nThis year's event will include:\n\nMusical entertainment:\n\nThe Dance band Southern City Band -\n\nSouthern City Band is a group of talented musicians from various locations around the United States who found common ground in their love of country music. They are one of the few country bands based in  Boston - check them out - www.southerncityband.com or facebook - The Southern City Band\n\n\n\nSpecial Guest - VIP room - Chris Gasper \n\nGasper is a columnist for the Sports section and host of Boston Sports Live and Globe 10.0 on Boston.com. He was a Patriots beat writer and NFL writer from 2006 to 2009. He has covered the Super Bowl\, the NBA Finals\, the Stanley Cup Final\, and the Little League World Series while at the Globe.\n\n\n\nTexas Hold'em\n\nOne hour games starting at 7:30/8:30 and 9:30\n\nThree prizes won every hour!\n\n\n\nFlowers by Parker's Florist and Gregory's\n\nFood by:  Laurie's 9:09 and Zuzu's Cafe\n\n \nSponsors\n\nWe invite you to become a contributor and an active participant in this spectacular celebration.
