SUMMARY:17th Annual "Table for TEN" Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Neurofibromatosis Northeast's 17th Annual "Table for TEN" event will bring dedicated sponsors and members of our NF Community together for an evening of fine dining at approximately 25 of Boston's most exclusive restaurants. We are thrilled that Boston TV favorite\, Jenny Johnson (well known for TV Diner and now at NESN) and Chris Himmel\, Executive Vice President of Himmel Hospitality Group\, whose restaurants include Grill 23 & Bar\, Post 390 and Harvest\, will share duties as Honorary Co-Chairpersons.\n\nFollowing a sumptuous meal at one of Boston's finest restaurants\, guests will gather at the spectacular\, newly opened UMass Club at 1 Beacon Street (just a short walk from the Faneuil Hall area) for entertainment\, an auction and a wonderful dessert reception catered by Montilio's Bakery.\n\n"Table for TEN" will fund research to help find the cure for neurofibromatosis (NF)\, a genetic disorder that can cause learning disabilities\, seizures\, brain tumors\, deafness\, vision impairment and cancer. Funds raised will benefit the Harvard Medical School Center for NF and Allied Disorders (CNfAD)\, and clinical support at the NF Clinics at Boston Children's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. But just as importantly\, "Table for TEN" will help to create awareness about NF which affects more people than cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy combined\, yet most people have never heard of it.
